Speedrun and Death Counts Added!!
I have now updated Lose Control from the Leap A Day Game Jam ! I used this tutorial - 5 Reasons Your Indie Platformer Game Sucks! (+Easy Fix!) to help with the collision issues I was getting with players running through the platforms. I didn’t update the features with the coyote jumps though, because I don’t want to change it too much from the GameJam version, but this bug fix was nice.
Using Bfxr, I also added sound effects and I added a particle dust effect to the player’s jumps and changes in run direction using this great tutorial : Dust Effect when Running & Jumping in Unity [Particle Effect] .
I did and a bug fix that was causing the player to skip levels.
For the win screen, I added a timer that displays how fast you won the game for speedrunning (using this great tutorial :

and the total amount of deaths (or restarts) you had. I also added the ability to restart the game on that screen by pressing R.
